OUR INSTRUCTORS
Ava Isecke
Pike Pilates was created to bring a modern Pilates experience to Lakeland.
Founder Ava Isecke, an alum of Florida Southern College, fell in love with the Lakeland community during her time in school and always knew she wanted to build something meaningful here.
After experiencing the energy of modern, beat-driven Pilates studios in larger cities, Ava saw an opportunity to bring that same elevated experience to Lakeland. Pike Pilates combines challenging mat Pilates with infrared heat to create a workout that strengthens the body, improves endurance, and leaves you feeling energized.
More than just a workout, Pike Pilates was built to create a community of strong, supportive women who show up for themselves and each other.
At Pike, we believe movement should feel powerful, intentional, and empowering.
Sierra
Sierra has had a passion for fitness and movement for most of her life. As a dedicated athlete for 18 years, she developed a strong foundation in discipline, performance, and the importance of overall wellness.
For nearly two years, Sierra has worked as a personal trainer, guiding clients toward building strength, confidence, and sustainable healthy habits. Her coaching style focuses on creating an encouraging and motivating environment where individuals of all fitness levels feel supported and challenged. She is passionate about helping others push past limitations, celebrate progress, and enjoy movement in a way that feels empowering and rewarding.
Through every class, Sierra aims to bring positive energy, motivation, and a welcoming atmosphere that leaves clients feeling stronger both physically and mentally.
Emily
Emily grew up in central Florida where she fell in love with fitness at age 11, focusing on strength training and CrossFit.
Emily was the first high school female weightlifter to win a State Title in Polk County. After years of her own training, Emily began coaching and fell in love with helping people become the best versions of themselves.
Through the years, Emily switched over to a bodybuilding focus, realizing she enjoyed the mind-muscle stimulus and connecting with her body. Soon, she discovered Pilates and added new depth to her training routine by supplementing this new practice.
Her love for connecting to the body and passion to guide people to become their best self led Emily to Pike Pilates, where she coaches today.
Rochelle
With roots in the cheerleading, dance, and gymnastics industry, Rochelle’s life always revolved around movement. She always wanted to pursue a career in fitness.
However, seeing her community had a need for nurses, she focused first on obtaining her nursing degree and licensure, part of which occurred during her time in Lakeland.
After establishing her career in nursing, Rochelle is excited to return to her college town with a different focus - Pilates! She looks forward to promoting culture and community as a leader at Pike.
Fabiana
Carson
Carson found yoga during a particularly high-stress season of her life. While working full-time, planning a wedding, and balancing the demands of daily life, she needed a way to slow down and reconnect. Although she had practiced yoga occasionally since 2016, it wasn’t until she committed to a consistent practice that she truly experienced its impact—feeling calmer, happier, and more grounded.
Carson enjoys teaching a blend of power yoga, restorative yoga, and guided visualization practices, creating a balanced experience that builds strength while encouraging deep relaxation. She is passionate about making yoga accessible to all, offering modifications for all levels of practitioners. Her classes emphasize intentional breath work, and she encourages students to listen to their bodies, move with purpose, and discover what feels best for them.
Outside of the studio, Carson enjoys exploring new coffee spots, traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She is a RYT-200 certified yoga teacher.
